Just because I picked the more muted and neutral-toned images from Yoko Omori's For a Girl shouldn't lead you to think that this book, a collection of Omori's work as a stylist, isn't full of brilliant color, whimsical patterns, and, as always, fascinating worlds inhabited by the beautiful, albeit somewhat eccentric (nothing wrong with that!), people.

"I want a Green Coat."
...pronounced our friend Sohini, upon my latest visit to the City.
"Um...grass green?" I asked.
"Sea Green?" guessed Cindie.
"Green...just green." She replied. "Like the Crayon."
It's still chilly, not winter chilly, but new Spring Chilly.
"See..." she pointed, as we saw an incredibly hip chick walk down the block on Madison Avenue.
This is what we saw. I get it.
